And I’m alive. Hot, sweaty and red but I did it! Can’t believe how unfit I am. Will I ever make it to 5k?!

Well done Fran, the most difficult run is done. Don’t worry about getting to 5k - the goal of the programme is to run 30 minutes non stop at your own pace. If you follow the programme you will be running for 30mins by the end. Go at your pace, repeat weeks if you need to. Enjoy your time 3 times a week.

Yes you will make it to 5k , it may not seem like it right now but this plan is amazing and it does work plus you get all the help and encouragement right here. I couldn't have done it without all of them good luck 😊

Yes you will. Take it slowly, repeat runs if you have to. It’s all ahead of you. Enjoy! Well done x

You can do this Fran. Just take your time with it and try not to put too much pressure on yourself.

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

One run at a time and you will get to 5k, but be aware that only a small proportion get to 5k during the programme.

Enjoy your journey.
