I have just completed my first run. I knew I was unfit but didn't realise how unfit!!! Feel great now for doing it and it's made me realise just how much I need to do it.

My very first run was also the most difficult. I think my brain and body both got a shock after so many years of not running. I also discovered the next time I ran that I had gone too fast. Just do it gently and don't extend energy bouncing up and down. It's supposed to be a 'light' jog, not a race! You'll be fine.
