So after a 2 week break, my dodgy knees finally felt good enough to start again tonight! Jumped straight back in at week 3 Run 1 and happy to report no adverse effects so far πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ. I did take it VERY steady tho, but seems to have worked. Shortened my stride which isn’t easy when your 6ft 5 and tried to stop bouncing up and down πŸ˜‚. Anyway onwards and upwards, being on Run 2!!

Welcome back! Yes, that's the way to do it... short steps, easy pace, not too much bouncing. Congrats and hope you keep going without issue. :)

I had a similar issue as have had to take a week off with flu. Had been at W4R2 stage but went back to W3R1 as had low energy levels. It was the right decision as managed it and already have my enthusiasm back!

Aw that’s great your enjoying being back and probably best taking a step back before moving on again πŸ‘! Week 3 seems to be the calm before the storm that is week 4 πŸ˜‚!

Yes can’t say I’m looking forward to W4 but surprised myself by being able to do the first run last time I tried! It’s great to be back on the programme as really missed it (never thought I’d miss running in the rain 🀣)!
