Ready for wk2r1

I’m anticipating week 2 run one this evening. My 15 year old son has nodded reluctantly in agreement to start his wk1r1 with me (in the dark, with headphones on). Any tips on running w and teenagers in general would be appreciated.

Well done on getting your son involved!

Just keep to your own pace and enjoy!

Just finished!!! Reluctant son came along on the pretext that his nearly 50 yr old mum might need help in the dark. I could have cried when I saw him run once. It’s the little things. He’s still belligerent but at least he’s downloaded the app and I’m optimistic. As for my run... someone who couldn’t run the length of herself a year ago feels great.
