Bad nights sleep

Good morning all

I’m about to go off to start week four and I’ve had a dreadful night, poor sleep. Does anyone find that this sort of thing impacts on your ability to run?

Well it makes me reluctant to do it at all, so yes. But I feel better for it and it doesn't seem to affect my performance adversely.

Hi there! I think it helps you sleep better in the end if you're generally quite sedentary because you get more physically tired at the end of the day, though that would mean early bed times. It's certainly helped me sleep.

I’m Week 3 run 3 and haven’t slept Plus I’m not fully well

Personally o think we should feel well rested to do next run incase if injuries. X

It may do... just take it gently and it may also help you to start the day feeling better than of you had not run:)

Yes💤, I am not a good sleeper but I think it impacts on your mental effort as much as physical.

I didn't sleep well last night, or eat well as I had to do an extra shift and didn't get a meal break.

I ended up having a salmon paste sandwich when I got home at about 21.30🤨.

Got up early to do 5k this morning and felt terrible, plus the 45kmph winds, and the rain.....Most of it was tough and I wanted to stop, but I'm on JuJu's 10k plan, so not an option.

The thing is, you are awake anyway and chances are that you will feel much better when you get in, compared to how you felt when you went out🤩
