Do not run...and I thought you had the MRI already and were waiting for results?

If you have the tear...then your consultant will tell you the treatment. But do not run.

Don’t run! Only the consultant can really tell you what you can be doing right now. Hopefully the MRI will give them a clear indication of which repair route is needed.

It's incredibly frustrating to feel you're not allowed to do what you feel you need and want to but you must look after your body for the long term.

The waiting is agonising. Could you afford to have the MRI privately? Ring your local Bupa hospital, it might be cheaper than you think to get it done and then you only need to wait to discuss the results with your consultant.

In the interim you need to do something for yourself to feel that you're doing something and to feel better in yourself. I 100% recommend looking on YouTube at Caroline Jordan's hurt foot fitness programme videos (all free). She does non weight bearing exercise workouts. People will laugh at the idea of chair cardio but it works. Put your gear on and do the workouts, several times a week. You will feel so much better for doing something that you CAN do rather than just missing what you really must not do.

Fingers crossed for you 🤞
