After a crappy run 2 - I’m happy to report I just finished a tough but really enjoyable run 3 - what a difference a couple of days can make!
Week 6 is history!: After a crappy run 2 - I’m... - Couch to 5K
Week 6 is history!

Any tips?
Yep. Pick a sunny day ..... let the dogs have 20 mins playing ball before starting and then grit teeth firmly!
Seriously - 5 mins in my legs were heavy, everything was wobbling and I had those horrible thoughts that I would have to give up ...... so I told myself “don’t be so defeatist - you did 20 mins last week : so you can do another 20 now!” I deliberately slowed the pace, found some sort of rhythm, smiled to myself and pushed through! When the good Ms Whiley said I only had 5 mins to go I couldn’t believe it... I even upped the pace for the final 3 mins or so!
Go and smash it too! You did 20 mins .... you can do 25!

Great job... that’s what the sucky run does... makes way for a smooth one! Enjoy week 7.

Well done. One run behind you! Looking forward to that on Friday!
