So last night I completed week 4 run 1, and I was absolutely DREADING IT! But I did it!! A year ago I was over 6 stone heavier, and I have lost that through slimming world, I wanted to up my exercise as I’ve never ever been into fitness, and started the C25K 4 weeks ago. It is truly amazing how your body adapts with hard work and perseverance, and this programme has made me realise that!! I can’t wait to graduate!!

Great job. Fear no run... you can do them all. Losing 6st in a year is hard, if you can do that you can do this easy. Congratulations on that weight loss, enjoy your next run.

Cool... it’s the best addiction... I woke up to ice everywhere... wondering how much of it I can clear with a hairdryer!

It really is! I feel like a different person! Ahhh haha 😂 when I heard about the upcoming cold weather my first thought was “but nooooo what about C25K!” Aha!! My run days are mon, Thursday and sat, so I’m hoping it’s clear by thurs, I’m in the southwest!

I’m in the Peak District, well just outside it the millstone is a short walk from here... so we sometimes get lots of snow, today we haven’t had enough, really thin layer that’s frozen... could be ok later if we don’t get more. Obviously I’m jealous that you’re either in or close to cider country!

Ah beautiful! The weather can be such a pain! I hope it all clears for you! Oh I am in the cider county of Somerset!! 😂 cider and cheese!! I was up in Yorkshire on Sunday to collect a puppy-10 house of driving 😴 I think we went close to or near the Peak District!!

Cider and cheese... heaven! I need to get the family down there for a weekend... and they need to pack light so I can fill the car with some produce!

Well done 👍

Take your time. There really is no hurry with this Slow is the way to go 💪👍😃🏃‍♀️

As you work your way slowly through the sessions you will get stronger 🙂

Walking more will help too.

Thank you! I make sure I pace myself, even though my body wants to go faster! I haven’t driven to work in 4 months-I walk now, which is the equivalent of 8 miles a week, and I’ve started going on walks every other day! I love it so much! 🥰🥰🥰

Yeah, just go really steadily. If you’re new to running it’s important that you don’t push things

Walking is a great habit, and as you get fitter, you'll literally be able to run errands I can now run to shops I previously thought too far away 👍

Definitely! Absolutely amazing-well done! I can’t imagine driving to the shops anymore-I feel so much stronger-it’s so liberating! 🙌🏼

It Is! I lost nearly five stones and I felt dead springy once the lard was gone. I borrowed a dog to make me walk more. He was so pully and fast that I couldn’t keep up with him. So, I learned to run with this fab programme

I never looked back. I never stop running and walking now Running later and stopping off via Next to collect a parcel. Might pop into Lidl too for a few bits.
