It was with a 4 day gap between runs because of work but to be honest I couldn't have done it anyway because I ached too much! But, after second run yesterday had a soak in the bath and feeling so much better today and ready for w1r3 tomorrow.

Yeah, sounds just like how I felt after day one. Better after run two, just have to take the slow and steady approach I keep hearing in here, we can get there......

Well done, I felt the same seem to recover a lot quicker after the second and feel fine the day after w1r3, keep it up.

I didn’t come up with the expression - it’s the C25k motto, and very sound advice - if a rather slimy idea ! Don’t worry about your pace; it’ll improve as your body gets used to the new demands you’re making of it. Slow and steady is the way x
