Said I’d have a go at it by end of day Tuesday - and I’ve done it, against a rose and amber sunset and a malfunctioning bird scarer ! Goodbye, week 6 😄

It wasn’t bothering the birds but it sure scared me ! Still, I suppose all the jumps and nervous twitches are exercise too 😁

Ahh ! You’re almost as much of a softie as I am, Wimborne. Looking forward to week 7. Never thought I’d say that 😄

Congratulations BCK, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, well done on completing week 6, wonderful news that you can now run continuously for 25 minutes, onwards and upwards to week 7 which sees another 3/25 minute runs 🏃.

I know the programme says I’m a runner, but I think I’ll always be a person who runs; there’s a difference in my mind. Thanks for your encouragement, AlMorr. I’ve named part of my usual running area the AlMorr Loop in your honour x

O that's so sweet of you Buttercupkid, part of your running area you have named 'the AlMorr Loop', thank you very much.

Take a few days off before continuing with run 1 of week 7, the weather is to become a bit colder, especially in your part of the world, so keep warm when on your runs.

Thanks AlMorr. Wrap up well yourself when you’re out ! I’ve named several different places round here after folk on the forum now, and I couldn’t possibly leave you out. The AlMorr Loop is particularly useful because it’s near a road and so lit by streetlights, so if I have to run very early or very late, that’s where I go x

Sounds remarkably like running 6:3 another three times to me ! If I’ve done it once, I can do it again - and again - and again 😄

Absolutely and it’s so good to know you can do it at the start... really good strengthening week too.

Sounds like it. Quite pleased to have a chance to consolidate. I thought I might get bored with no walking breaks to look forward to, so I’ve uploaded Strava. Did just over 2.4k today, including warm up and cool down, which isn’t bad with my short legs and gives me a fresh target to whittle away at gradually !

Fan-tas-tic BK! You rock, you just ran for 25 minutes and that’s a monster achievement. W7 awaits - 3 more of the same. Yours for the taking! 👊

Well done you! 👏👏👏👏
