Having got to week 3 before Christmas I got sick. So I’ve done two of week three again but I’m scared of week 4. Looks like such a jump!!!

There’s no pressure, take it at your pace. If you don’t manage a session you can either step back to the previous one to consolidate your progress, or redo the same one in 2 days’ time. You’ll know what feels right. Just keep at it and you’ll keep stepping it up. Well done!

So what is the worst thing that can happen?

You might not complete a workout..............which does of course mean that Oldfloss and I will come round to your place and force you to run without any breaks, naked around the streets, until you complete it..............or you could just take a rest day and try again, knowing that you will be better prepared the second, third or fourth time.

This post might help you with your mental approach healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Believe in yourself.

Ok... so, I’m thinking W1R1 was a shock to the system, a hard session... it certainly was for me... and now you’re running 3 minute intervals... that’s pretty amazing progress... you should be proud of yourself. Every run has added to fitness and strength, so your body is ready for the next step. Trust the plan, kick self doubt out of your mind and believe in yourself. Keep the pace down and relax... you can do it.
