Week 2 advice

Hi so I just finished my first run in week 2 and found it a real struggle I think I only completed one of the runs without having to stop. Should I go back and redo week one again or keep going? I was feeling so good about week one but so disappointed about tonight. Thanks in advance

if you completed Week 1...then rest tomorrow and do this run again... slower... and then slower still :)

Don't be disappointed, please...this is early days.... just relax and take it as gently as you like...:) You are doing just fine... we are right there beside you.. :)

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

The basic approach is to move on if you complete a workout. If you don't then you simply repeat that session, after a rest day.

You can repeat any run or week you wish, without permission, you are in control, but why not keep tackling the one that is causing you problems?

You only fail if you go back permanently to the sofa.

Enjoy your journey.

If this running thing was easy, you’d be trampled by a herd of runners every time you set foot on a pavement... it takes a little time to get into and it doesn’t matter how long it takes... don’t quit and you will succeed! Repeat any run you don’t fully complete, I didn’t see it as 9 weeks, it was 27 runs, all to be done 100%. Relax and keep the pace down... you can do this.
