Would it help or hinder my running if I did moderate cycle runs on rest days? I have road and mountain bikes and have read in the past that it may ‘confuse’ the leg muscle groups.
Naturally I don’t want any more confusion than I normally experience at my age but enjoy my cycling and want to keep it as an overall balance in my general fitness.
Any thoughts or observations on this.....I enjoy cycling, can do 20+ miles without any issues but also am getting to enjoy my jog/runs too.
Hmmmm🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

It will help! As will swimming, walking, cycling, Yoga, climbing, strength and stamina work... the list goes on!!!
You will be fine... do the exercise on some of your rest days and do have actual rest days too, linked with your run days...you are going to feel amazing
