Oh the joys of being an asthmatic and having a chest infection in January. Well that’s me out of it until I can breath again. Feeling proper fed with myself gutted I’m going to have to start again. I can’t even walk with out getting out of breath and almost killing my self coughing. 😷🤒🤧💩

Just take your time and get well. I'm the same as you but not so bad i have had the Cold/Cough thing going around but i have been lucky 1 puff on the Blue Inhaler and Week 8 Run 3 here i come. Actually the run seems to clear my chest for the rest of the day so i'm obviously not that bad and mentally i feel so much more positive. You will enjoy it twice as much when you get back and keep us posted on your progress. Good Luck.

I really struggle in the winter months with my asthma I’m using the blue one more and more so out comes the steroids. When they have kicked in and I can walk and climb a flight of stairs without being breathless I start again with week 1 🙁

That’s a better call than trying to run for sure. I hope you’re back soon. Have you considered a buff to lessen the coldness of the air coming in? We all get setbacks on the journey, I was injured and then stupidly injured myself again in November, and yes it’s gutting to have to take a step back, but we also have the advantage that we know we can do the runs. Get well soon.

I wear a scarf in the winter months. Just feel a bit disheartened as I was so getting into and even started to like it lol.

Poor you I completely sympathise! That could have been me posting! I’ve just finished short course of steroids and was going to try and get a short run in but just too tired and still coughing 😖

Been kidding myself for a few days that I be ok but not even the blue inhaler helping. So out comes the emergency stash of steroids come out. Don’t push yourself to much as you know it a flare up wipes your energy levels out

I’ve finished a short course of 8 steroids a day for five sets. Do they make you tired when you stop them? I feel like I could sleep all day!

I feel absolutely drained when I’m on them. Hate the way they make me feel. Give it a few more days then maybe check with your asthma doctor. Hope you start to feel better soon
