First rest day and getting out of bed has been a challenge. Shins and hips feeling the pain. However, sticking with the project and persevering with the healthy diet and a gentle walk.

I hear ya, I had to lie in bed with ice packs strapped to me last night 😂

😆 I might feel better if I had done the same.

It’s the first time I’ve had to and I’m on week 5 so not too bad ☺️I’m going to go a gentle swim today and see if that helps

Hi Scarlet! Congrats on having started C25K 👏👏👏, it is a great program and you will enjoy it and feel much better!! 😊 It is normal to have some slight aches at the beginning. Proper stretching after your runs should help keeping them at a minimum. You can find a good guide here: nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h...

There are lots of valuable running advice from our mentors in the Pinned posts.

Enjoy your well deserved rest day and your next run!!!!

Thank you, I will take a look.

Still looking forward to the next one despite the pain.

Well done! Yes keep moving gently. If you can go and sit in a pool, i really recommend it otherwise some really gentle yoga stretches helped me. Again, well done!
