Drained 😞

Thyroid problem has got the better of me today. Had to leave work early before I started snoring at my desk. Energy levels below zero. Annoyed it’s slowing me down but hoping resting today will give me some energy to run tomorrow. The end is so close!!!

Thank you. My mind is all set the body and thyroid just need to catch up, lol. Great believer in listening to your body tho’ so you are right, the run waits 😊 Happy New Year to you 🥳

I sympathise with you. I am benched at the moment with thyroid issues. Thought my training was going nowhere so went to my GP. Results back within 24 hours severely over medicated on my thyroid meds. Probably the reason I have got another cold. It is Rotten little organ when it is misbehaving, but with the right meds I know I can run a HM, so they are worth looking after. Speedy recovery. Rfc x

That’s not good, I hope you’re meds get sorted sooner rather than later. Hubby had similar issues. I’m not even on meds yet. After a year of blood tests being borderline I gave up on a diagnosis. Blood test for something else before Xmas and they ring and say it’s under active but to have another test in 2 months. If I carry on feeling this bad I will demanding it sooner. So frustrated that I am trying so hard with food and fitness and not losing weight. At least I am enjoying the running. Happy New Year to you 😊

Oh is so understand your frustration. I was subclinical hyperthyroid for over 5 years and they just told me I had ME/CFS. My energy was in the gutter. I was in the 10% who didn’t lose weight with hyperthyroid I just got exhausted. I had radiation treatment 9 years ago, so I only have 1/2 a thyroid now. Hang in there, I know if your just borderline look into when in the day you have your bloods done as that can help get a better picture. If they are offering bloods try vitamin d, and ferritin too as they both can make running very hard if they are out. Good luck. Rfc x
