Hi nice to meet/chat lol. I am planning my first run tomorrow in the gym. Think will be in the gym for first few weeks then will venture in the open. Have you started yours?

Brilliant well done!! I hope so to just take it one week at a time. Would love to get fit enough to do a tough mudder.

Hi to all other newbies. I’ve just downloaded the c5k app and will be starting tomorrow Sun 30th

I wanted to ask, do we always do 3 days a week or let the next we’ll fall into play by just jog one day rest next etc?

in reply toSweatntears

Good question will await replies to this. I was planning to do 3 one week then 3 following week

Welcome to the C25k forum. It’s 3 runs a week, which means you get a rest day after two of your runs and 2 rest days after the other run. It’s up to you where you place the two rest days, but they are part of the programme so don’t be tempted to skip them, as that is when your muscles are repairing and growing stronger.

Don’t forget to post in the forum, let us know how you’re getting on. You’ll get lots of support and encouragement.

Happy running. 🏃🏾‍♀️
