Hello everyone. I’ve just joined the forum today after exploring the Couch to 5k app. I’m half way through my second week as it stands. Doing ok so far. I’m a Parkrunner too and would really like to actually “run” the Parkrun instead of keeping the TailWalker company every week, which is currently making me feel like I’m holding everyone else up from getting on their Saturday morning while I amble around whatever course I’m doing.

Hoping this is the key to actually managing that!

Congratulations on starting C25K, as far as parkrun, volunteer not just as the tailwalker, most people don't run at parkrun until they complete run 3 of week 5, however, if you wish to walk/run, you may do so before week 5, run 3.

I’ve been doing Parkrun for a while - I’ve done 34. I’ve also volunteered 23 times :)

Excellent on running 34 parkruns and volunteering 23 times, I think you should "sail" through C25K without any problems whatsoever.

Thank you for the encouragement! I’m not so sure about that but I’ll give it my best attempt :)

It won’t be long until you can start running PR Kerosene. 👍 You could even start now - warmup walk, then your intervals, then walk the rest. You’ll start running longer as the weeks progress. 😀

Have fun, C25K is truly fantastic. 😀👍

Yeah I went to PR last weekend and completed one of my C25K runs on it. I go every Saturday so I’ve put that into my schedule as a run day :)
