"If you get tired, learn to rest, not to quit" - Banksy.
That's how if felt when running today. I had to remind myself that You can slow down, but never stop... My mantra today was "Don't stop don't stop don't stop"
Ph*kin' 'ell what have I got myself into.
Got a big run on New Year's Eve. Week 5 Run 3.
If I said I wasn't cacking myself about it I'd be lying ๐ฌ
In the meantime, Doozer is ahead of me on this programme and now runs for 30 mins straight with ease by the looks of it... ๐

Good to hear from you BirdyRose, no F words, anyway, you did the correct thing by not stopping, some runs are harder than others, enjoy run 3 of week 5 on New Years Eve, there are several people doing that run on 31 December including ButtercupKid, regards to you and Doozer. ๐
That is OK, it's just that there at two words beginning with the letter F that we don't use here on C25K. Number 1 is fail, no runner fails even if they don't complete a run, just put that down to a practice run, the other F word I will not use, you know what it is, I will admit that I have muttered it under my breath a few times and so have other runners who are struggling with their run, but never use it here on C25K ๐ ๐๐
Well done BirdyRose sounds like your perseverance is paying off. Good luck for your run on New Year's Eve. It won't be long before you're running 30 minutes without stopping.
(And yes, do be careful of "F" words, as there are sometimes youngsters in the forum).
Week 5 Run 3 is the run I remember most from C25K. I mean your graduation run is great, but it's Wk5 R3 when you know you're going to make it ๐. New Year's Eve is a great time to do it. I'd say good luck but you really don't need it because you've come this far.
Great work Birdy! I love your posts! ๐ ... youโre gonna love that Wk5R3, I remember being nervous too... but once itโs done... best feeling ever! Go get it gurl! ๐ช๐
