One more run and I graduate before the New Year!

I had to take a week as I wasn’t feeling great and at the moment managing a run every 3 or 4 days because of lots of family staying.

I managed to run Christmas Eve and yesterday morning and found yesterday’s a challenge, the last 5 minutes, though I didn’t stop and completed it.

I am going away for 2 days and have a full agenda so hoping to run my final one New Years Eve. I am so pleased with what I have achieved but I also have not managed 5km but can run for 30 min. Hoping to then consolidate this as I want to join a park run by the end of January.

I will post when I complete couch to 5k and just want to say thank you for your encouragement. I don’t post often but Ilike to read people’s journey, advice and help.

Thanks x

Sounds like you're doing a grand job, you must be very proud of yourself!! I am in week 7 having had a break at Christmas, and only running 3k in 25 minutes!! It's not about the distance; I guess it's still early days. Enjoy your final run and Happy New Year x

Good to know someone else is at the same stage as me. I'm hoping to graduate on New Years Day and think I can do it. Best wishes to you.

I am so excited but also am proud of my achievement. I can feel the good wishes of everyone and I know I will complete the program but also build on it. I am never going back to the person who would sit around and be this new person who is fit, full of energy and a better handle on life. Thank you again to everyone x
