Just go out there and do the best you can! W1R1 is the hardest I’ve done so far! You’ll be surprised how quickly it gets easier. Good luck

5 weeks ago I literally thought my lungs would burst and I would die during the first 60 second run. I’m 52 and about 3 stone overweight. Last night I completed W5R2 and ran for 8 minutes TWICE. The programme is amazing and if you follow it to the letter. It works ! Good luck !

Take it slow and steady. Think about one run at a time. It does get easier. Do it and be proud 😊

Best advice I can give is to just get out there and do it. Follow the program, it really works, and the hardest part is starting that first run. Come back and let us know how it goes!

I agree with everyone , especially one run at a time and being well hydrated before —- I like going out at first light so I always have a cuppa and a little water at least half an hour before I go out ! .. just be you - just a little quicker 🏃🏼‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Take it slow. The important thing is to make sure you finish each run. Then don't be tempted later on to do more than Laura (in the NHS podcast) tells you to. You will feel like it at times later in the programme. Also get your gait checked if you feel any knee/foot pain.

Welcome. Good decision coming here and taking on C25K. You can do this. Run slowly so you can speak in full sentences, and keep an eye on your hydration. Enjoy your journey.
