Still running

Hello it’s been a few weeks since I graduated and since I last posted. Since graduation I have continued to run every second day gradually increasing the time of each run. I just completed my longest run yet, 50minutes of running!

While my pace is not great the fact that I can now run for a full 50minutes is huge. When I think back to early September and running for 3 minutes was almost impossible for me.

It is amazing what this program has done for me. Thank you again to everyone involved with this. Oh and Laura, I still use you for the first 30mins of my runs, wouldn’t be the same without you.

Well done Khobarrunner on running non stop for 50 minutes, that will be about 7 kilometers you will have ran if your pace as you say is "not great" nevertheless it's a wonderful achievement. 😊 🏃. If you want to know exactly what your pace and duration is you should install an app such as Strava or the app I use Mapmyrun.

I ran for 50 minutes last night and covered 5k - Mind you, I was overtaken by someone who was walking 🙄

Great job Khobarrunner!

50 mins wow 👍😀, well done.

I hope I'll be able to do the same over time. Was planning to get out this morning but exhausted due to work.

Day off tomorrow though so...... 👟🏃‍♀️

Enjoy the rest of your running journey and have a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2019

That's great! I'm a newish graduate too, but haven't run beyond 30 minutes yet. Aspiring to run the full 5k at some stage, but am waiting for the New Year - then, Park Run here I come. Have you done park runs too?

No park runs. I live in Saudi and they are not available. Trying to work up the courage to sign up for some of the runs available in Bahrain or UAE in 2019

Good luck. You're doing so well on your own anyway.
