After graduating in the early summer, I'm still running 2-3 times a week now at the end of Sept - 30 mins a run and achieving around 2.8-3.8 Km each time. 229Km since I started, according to Strava (which I adore as it tracks me and my sons give me kudos!) I love loud music with a good beat to run to. Very happy indeed and love the energy it gives me and the mental wellbeing. I don't seem to get any faster and I don't care. I'd hate to have to stop now. 60 this weekend....

Brilliant that you're still running. I also love music with a fast beat and can sometimes get carried away as I can tell with my breathing so then slow down.

Just keep doing as you are and keep enjoying. Well done you 😊😊

Congratulations on our achievement of keeping it going and it's lovely to read positive success stories. It's motivational gold for those of us in the programme aiming for graduation and the running life afterwards. Wtg πŸ‘πŸ‘ ....

Excellent, 3 x 30 minutes a week is great, and so good that you are still enjoying it.

Happy birthday weekend πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚πŸ’πŸŽπŸ˜Š

Fantastic! I hope I can maintain my enthusiasm as well as you seem to have done, especially as the nights are getting dark. Keep enjoying it and have a great birthdayπŸŽ‰

Great post, good lesson and reminder that speed and distance is not important as getting out regularly and enjoying it

Go arrabida! I started a year ago aged 60, turns out it's a good age to start running 😁. I've got a bit faster but it's very gradual, so you may find that you will too, but it's not important and it's not why I do it! Keep on keeping on, and Happy Birthday to you! πŸŽ‰πŸ₯‚
