Ok so one more run and then technically I have finished the couch to 5K!
How did that happen. Who knows.
One more gentle run for Thursday and the park run on Saturday to finish on a high!
For those of you who have done a park run, what do you do about breakfast? Have two kids to sort and drop off at mums and then after the run will have about 20 mins before the kids are dropped off and I have to take them swimming. Can get some toast in the cafe between the run and getting picked up
Happy happy me. Just have to get through the next few days without injury... x

For breakfast, eat what you normally eat but leave at least an hour for it to digest before you run. You can get away with perhaps a banana and a glass of water, or nothing at all. Just do what you normally do before an early run.
Great job... enjoy graduation and that parkrun. Your normal eating should be enough, but if you’re used to getting up early, running and then breakfast then maybe you’ll have a lot of hunger by the end of parkrun... something like a banana an hour before the run would be great in that case.
I normally have a banana or nothing, but did a5k santa run on Saturday with the kids and we all had a Belvita soft bake breakfast bar before, definitely helped with energy.
I try not to drink too much before otherwise I end up desperately needing a wee half way around lol 😂
