PostGrad run 3 ... and 1st 5km!

Ok, the 5.05km included my warm up walk but it’s the first time my distance has started with a 5 so I’m happy.

I decided to leave MJ behind and run without him as I’m struggling to increase my jogging time and thought having no concept of time would help.

It did! I ran till I started going sideways (always a sign that enough is enough) which was at 41m36s ... over 4 mins longer than my previous 2 runs.

I’ll be back with MJ when I want to work on pace, but for now, the endurance I need to clock up 5km of jogging is my plan.

I thought I’d feel lost when I’d completed W9R3 but there’s always something to work towards. 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

Great job... watch the duration doesn’t go above a 10% increase on the week before and you should be safe. Poor MJ... one can only hope he had a new runner to take him out 😂

The 10% is interesting as that’s about the extra I did but could do no more. As for MJ, he’s mine! He’ll have to wait for me! 🤣

I did the same and counted the warm up because I so wanted to ensure there was a 5 starting my finishing distance. Couldn’t compare my times with previous runs though because they’ve all been just the running bit.
