so far i have successfully run the couch2fivek without any pains or niggles. I completed week 8 run 1 yesterday and felt great. This morning I woke up and got out of bed and a pain shot up my leg from my left inside ankle. I have been doing so well and am now gutted as I don't think I will be able to do wk 8 run 2 tomorrow as I have been limping whilst walking about today. I really want to reach my goal of finishing the couch2fivek before xmas, but don't want to give myself more of a problem down the line.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou

I think if you're in pain that makes you limp when walking you should refrain from running until it's better don't worry about when you'll finish c25k if you continue you may not finish at all so take a rest ☺☺
Definitely not worth running on yet, sounds like it could be a sprain. You should rest, ice compress and elevate it. I hope you feel better in a few days and the limp improves. Good luck.
Another one advising rest. Further damage may mean a longer time out. We can’t diagnose & a sports physio maybe your best bet. My personal experience was similar (fine after running, limping the next morning). I left it a few days & then did 5k. It was the wrong thing to do & I was on the IC for quite some time. A week out might have saved me that. Hope you heal quickly!
