Week 9 I missed due to being sick and not quite made a full 30 mins however, I took a plunge and signed up for 5k Santa jog in my local park yesterday and was triumphant! Just receiving a medal at the end made this whole process more real and to think I couldn’t even run for 1 minute 9 weeks ago!!! This programme works - here’s some tips that have helped me along :

There will be some runs better than others!

Don’t beat yourself up if you have an occasion where you have to stop - it’s not a race , it’s all good progress;

Mind over matter and just getting out of that door is so so important!

Build in hill jogs where u can - it’s helps endurance!

You’re doing this for yourself, it’s empowering!

It’s not about speed - we all have our own pace - aim for 30 minutes not distance !

Enjoy it and as you progress, reflect on the earlier weeks - it’s prove how far you have come along!

Trust yourself and the programme x

Hi, seems like there's nothing like a Santa run to inspire people to greater things! Huge congratulations, and yes it's a real learning journey doing this program. Long may you continue.
