So today will be my last interval run and it feels a bit scary.

I know what you mean - it’s like going from little school to big school - you’re big now so no more playing around - all runs are now 25 minutes or more 😁. Doing my W5R2 Saturday.

W6R2 - not W5R2! I need to do my big school homework!

Haha I keep having to check which run I’m on - big school eh? I was always slightly envious of those who had already got this far in the plan when I started so just going to go for it

Relax... and just move on steadily and slowly.. you will be fine. Each run prepares us for the next one:)

You’ll not miss them, you’ll be too busy running! Enjoy that last one.

I was the same but I found once I started w7 it was much easier to run without the walking break. But I did have to change my route as I was running out of road on my old route. I’m about to do w9r3 today and I’m feeling a bit sad that it’s over

Look at it at a new beginning rather than an end

Interesting that you didn’t miss the walking bits after W6 - I hope that’s my experience. Good luck with W9R3 and graduation - you potentially have park runs to look forward to! Someone posted earlier they had run with a running club. The idea of me being even eligible to be a member makes me laugh - it shows the transformational effect of the programme! I suppose graduating from a programme where every run is a big achievement to go into “maintenance” mode may seem the future will be less gratifying - you’ll need to find how to get the same buzz 🤪.

Definitely although the big motivation for me is to try and hit the 5k mark as I’m still a fair way off. I’m consistently hitting the 3.5k during my run but can’t seem to get any quicker. So that’s my aim 😁
