After 4 short nights with bad sleep, after so much food that I could fes a small family for a week, and after 1.5h of postponing my waking up, I put my running clothes on and step out to very frosty late morning with my mobile saying 0oC ("feels like -5oC"), I'd say feels like minus too cold degrees. My home city welcomed me with frost on the roofs, roads, paths, grass, trees. Park looked amazing, and they renovated it since I've last been there. It was all good and beautiful. My body was somewhere on the other side of the scale: aches, pin and needles, short of breath, couldn't pace myself. I added many walk breaks, but in total I did 3.2k in about 22-25min :) Not so bad considering my physical state :)

UP-DATE: After a run and a shower, I feel MUCH better and even I start to look like a human being :)

Hi Iga, I started running in the spring, so haven't tackled running on a cold morning. Yet! It sounds like you did really well, especially with the lack of sleep, I would have been happy just to get out of bed, I don't think I'd get any further! Be proud 🤗

I was very happy that I went out :) I think cold wasn't such a huge problem. Overeating and lack of sleep - probably was.

It sounds lovely IgaT, but so cold! Well done for going out in that 😊

Running in the cold burns more calories. So you're allowed to est more! 😸

I think I was eating like it would be -30oC, not zero ;D

Congratulations to the brave run!

I think it's great! You do not give up!

And even after a heavy meal and a lack of sleep.

That's great!

I think running in the winter is not that easy.

Tomorrow it will rain in my place all day, the evening should be up to 8 ° C, so maybe I will run in the evening instead of the morning.

I hope you enjoyed the time in your hometown!

I did enjoy the time. Now, after I have no idea how many hours of travel (mainly flights, but also car), I have massive muscle soreness in my thighs and calves. I have several more hours tomorrow in car, and then as I promised go for a run that will be probably more of a crawl :P

I hope you will have good run!

I hope you will be fine. I could run longer than I thought today. Much more than fifteen minutes in the end... And I think it was thanks to your wise advice.👍

Thank you for your wise support. I hope I can support you when you need it, too.

I wish you healing from pain and happy travel!

Today, I finally arrived to the hotel where I stay longer than 1 night :) I had several unexpected adventures including "having" a dog on the beach. We thought she is nobody's and she just chose us to spend the day with, so I had some additional running and playing. On top of some walking and swimming. So my run is postponed for tomorrow. I still aim at max 15 minutes and see how it will go. I still want to cultivate 3x a week and go back to time and distance after holidays.

15 min is very good choice! You're a hero! I would run straight into the bed after such a trip :-)
