Finished Week 3! Looking back to the first time I started and couldn't complete the first session I'm really chuffed. I gave up after that first failed attempt and it wasn't until I heard other people saying the same that and recommending persevering and pacing that I went back to it and started again. I'm still going slowly but that's okay, it's the endurance I want to build, I can speed up later; and when I have energy left to push myself a bit faster towards the end of a run rather than collapsing before the finish I feel fantastic. Thanks to everyone who gave me encouragement to continue. I feel like I've got this now

I'm at the same point, the end still seems a long way off, but I'm beginning to get the point of pacing, better to be a tortoise than a hare!

Slow is good. My jog is barely more than my fast walk! I remember in the summer when I was doing this the first time (broke leg so started again) I was trying to catch up and pass someone who was walking and it took ages then there was that awkward 20 seconds when I was running alongside him walking! What I learned was cross over to get past a pedestrian. It’s less obvious. So that’s how slow I go. But I am still running! Slow will get you to the end without injury hopefully. Well done x
