What a beautiful morning! I did it! The run actually begins the day before. No wine after 3pm yesterday. Slept quite well. Made it out of bed, fed the cats and the fish, half a cup of tea, swerved around breakfast and out the door as the sun came up. 8 minute walk up the hill and then down the track into the woods. Rocks, roots, ruts and muddy puddles sidestepped and avoided No falling. Just kept going and found it just a bit easier up the small inclines that used to really punish me. Twice around the lakes and I was done. Then I ran a little bit more before the five minute walk. Back on the road I ran another extra 4 minutes downhill and home.

Still old but endorphins coursing nicely.

Bring on week 9, I can’t believe I wrote that.
