Running Granny

I completed W9R2 this morning and it's the first time I've been pleased with myself. I'm hard to please! I'm 68 next week (how did that happen?) and this podcast and the online support has been truly instrumental in getting me to this point. We go to Amsterdam on Monday and I will achieve my ambition of running through Westerpark for the first time. Wowee.

You are never too old.

So good to hear from another Granny too! I’m 71 and a bit behind you - just done W7R1 and it was OK but needed a bit of grit! Can’t quite believe I’ll do more so you’re an inspiration. Well done you and thank you for sharing - it really helps. And what a special place for your final run of the programme!

Thank you. Well done for achieving so much already. I have to do some serious talking to myself every run - it's definitely my head not my legs that is the problem.

Thank you. So many of us out there - it's quite liberating being a 'certain age'

From another 68 year old - well done. Enjoy the graduation run it’s ‘down hill’ after what you have already done. Then you can really start enjoying your running with some solid consolidation runs - which I am finding much easier. Keep running and well done
