Hard run today.

This morning I did W7R1 which was so hard. I think it’s only the second time in the whole 7 weeks Iv felt I really struggled.

From beginning to end I was struggling and could have cried when Sarah said 60 seconds left.

I think there were a number of reasons I felt it was so hard today. But an old friend of mine who is now marathon training ran past me. She has since messaged me and given me some encouragement and advice also added me to a Facebook support group.

So I’m feeling a bit better about today’s run and the future runs. But it took me a fair few hours to recover today my chest was hurting and I just felt wobbly but Iv had a bath and a rest and feel better now.

My body just wasn’t up for it today 😟

Some runs are better than others pinkybee and today wasn't one of them, nice of your marathon training friend basically giving you encouragement for continuing running support. Better luck for running week 7 run 2 🏃👍

Well done for doing that run, it's amazing how far you've come isn't it. That's two 25 minute non stop runs you've done now. I found this run the hardest, I breezed through up until then. The good folks on here reassured me that we all have bad runs at unexpected times. Keep it slow and steady, have a day or twos rest. You'll be surprised how good your next run will be!

Well done... and as you move into these longer runs.. relax...let the legs find their own happy pace...:)

If you feel it is a struggle.. pull back and slow down.. we are right there running alongside you!

I found Week 7 hard and wasn’t looking forward to week 8. Week 8 turned out to be the best 3 runs of the program so far. Well done for getting through it and I hope run 2 is a little easier for you.
