Well I've done my 2nd Parkrun today and did it in 31.32. I'm quite chuffed with the time I did as I was over 2 mins quicker than 2 weeks ago but that's partly because I did my warm up walk before the run started.
I'm really enjoy this running park although I never thought I'd say that. One more of week 8 then I'm onto week 9. I'm worried that I'll get bored after I've finished this programme. Any tips as to what to do next? I like the structure of the programme, even though the music annoys me.

Well done, that's a great time especially as you haven't even graduated yet!
Ok, after graduation you'll have no time to get bored as there's sooooo much to do. After a little while of just running and getting into the habit you can run different routes, at different times, with music, without music, up hills, down hills, run faster, run intervals, book a race, get a medal, increase your distance. You can check out the Bridge to 10K forum if that's what you want to do.
Or, you could run just because you can and it feels glorious 🏃🏃🏃
Wow fantastic time, well done. Very impressive. I celebrated doing week 7 run 3 yesterday by doing a Parkrun too. It was my 4th Parkrun and it was the first time that I managed to run the entire 5k without walking. My time was 34.26. Starting week 8 tomorrow, just 6 runs left until graduation.
For me when I graduate I am going to start extending the distance initially to 7k and perhaps 10k for endurance training. Do some internval training for speed and my goal is to consistently run 5k in under 30 mins. Enter some 5k races other than Parkrun and just keep running at least 3 times a week.
That's me too SueKen! There's a Parkrun literally a 5 min walk from my house but I'm not feeling brace enough yet. I'm starting W7 tomorrow so hopefully by the end of the month.....
You should both do the Parkrun, it's a different experience from running on your own. Go for it! At the St Albans one there are lots of serious runners but there also a lot of people taking it slowly. Give it a go! If you do it now with a walk/run routine then your time will only improve!
