2nd Parkrun at Dartford Heath

Well got out and did my 2nd Parkrun, 1st run since last Friday no runs in the week at all slipping no real reason other things came up. Did this one no stopping this time a bit muddy but dry and very breezy. Came 43rd out of 113, 1st in age class a personal best for Parkrun only down side Strava did not record a 5k so trying to look how to change it.

Annoyed though Strava not recorded it as that was best 5k I think ever. Might have to amend it.

annoyed with my garmin,it didnt get going until half a K in.

first time it has let me down and is usually V accurate.

Bit of a pain have my time so have done a manual entry. Change thing is even the Parkrun data is different to the time given to me and contained on Strava. Bit of a weird one today but did it.

Might get a sub 25 minute 5K soon, what would happen if your Strava time shows 24.59 but the parkrun time that is e mailed to you was 25.05, which time would you count?

Tough one that as long as it says 5k I will be happy. Be a while before getting that low 😂. I have used Strava for everyone of my 60 odd runs after graduation and usually run a little further to make sure but just these two Parkruns it’s not said 5k as looked at a number of accompanying runners and all their distances are 3.1 so not sure why mine comes up short. Even my last one was 3.06 so still short. So ended with Strava 27.40, Parkrun 2018 PB 27.20, email result and results table 27.44. Take your pick and Strava said 2.9 miles and Parkrun I assume is 3.1 or 5k.

Well now that you say that today could have been my February 5k ticked off on strava but I was 0.10 short at parkrun😊
