Week 8 Second Run

That's my 2nd run of week 8 done 👍🏃😉

Woke up early this morning to go for my run. I make my way through the city centre to the park to do my run and this morning I had a beautiful rainbow waiting for me.

The rain was just going off when I started my run so it was wet under foot, running round the puddles was fun 😜

I didn't enjoy this one as much as Monday's run. I think the main difference is the fact that on a Monday I run along an old railway track and the views around me are constantly changing. The sunlight casting shadows of the trees on the path or catching the wetness of the leaves that are still on the trees. On today's run, it's playing fields and a golf course, so all you see is grass. There's nothing really to take your mind from the run.

It was great to finish it and I did enjoy it, but not just as much as I did on Monday.

Onwards and upwards. See what Friday holds.

Still can't believe how far I have come in 8 weeks.
