It’s not too late

After being fit up to the age of 50 slouched into my 60s. At 67 started the couch25k programme on 25 Sept 2018. First 2 weeks was purgatory but now doing 5k park runs. Stick with it if I can you can. Do it gradully and slowly build up stamina. I feel fitter now than 20 years ago and lost half a stone. I hope this inspires anyone with second thoughts. 🏃‍♂️

Couldn't agree more - at 58 I was definitely an unfit and overweight couch potato! Starting C25K in Sept as well, and now running 5K, can't believe it! I feel so much more alert now, full of energy and actually much happier, seem able to cope with things better that I did, in fact my whole outlook has changed, so much more positive now! Well done on your achievement, fantastic stuff - long may it continue! :o)

I am 65 and have just completed week 5 and the 20 minute run. I was so pleased after I completed it. My ambition is to complete a park run and I am now feeling that it is possible to do. I am encouraged by your progress. Best wishes for the future and continued running.
