So don’t think I’ll be able to complete my runs this week. In Amsterdam at the moment for work and knee is very painful when sitting and walking, so think I’ll need to get it looked at when I get home. ☹️

It started after my runs last week and thought it was just niggles but has progressively got worse.

I’m thinking “herbal painkiller” I really need to get rid of my Amsterdam stereotyping.

Rest them well, maybe some ibuprofen and ice. Hopefully they’ll improve soon.

😂😂

It’s only my right knee and have taken ibuprofen etc. but still painful. Even hurts when I bloody sleep. Had the pain for over a week now so might rest this week and start week 8 next week!

Do you take anything for joints? I take 1000mg of cod liver oil every day and that has completely solved my knee issues from years ago......

Definitely worth a try. It will take a week or so to get into your system I think........

Definitely see your doctor. I had the same last year -- couldn't walk or drive without pain, even putting an ice pack on it hurt. And forget sleeping!

Had 2 weeks of super-strength ibuprofen, 2 weeks of physio knee-strengthening exercises and then eased back into running really gently (we're talking W1R1 level).

Hopefully yours won't be as bad, but best to get it checked out.

The good news is, that was 18 months ago and I've had no issues since 😊

Not what you're looking for?
