W9R3 - oh yes!

Yesterday I completed the programme. With there being very little daylight left by the time I get home from work I completed my last two runs on a treadmill. Part of me has felt like I've cheated a little by doing this but buoyed by reading lots of the posts on here I've remembered that running is running wherever you do it!

My plans are to keep going with week 9 for a few more weeks to build up my stamina (and to listen to MJ). I'm nowhere near 5k yet so I'll then increase my time gradually. I've registered for Park Runs but just want to feel a little more confident before I do one.

Thanks for all the advice 😀 it's really helped get me to here.

I'm on wk5 and I did a parkrun last Saturday and will be doing my 2nd parkrun this Saturday. Give it a go. Loads of people walk part of it or jog really slowly. You will love it. It's really friendly and fun.

Congratulations, brilliant, no hurry to complete 5k in 30 minutes, you can take part in a Parkrun at any time, you would be welcomed.

Congratulations! As for confidence, parkrun is a very good place to build it, they love newbies! Enjoy your celebration, consolidation and the journey to that 5k
