I'm only on Week2 (well I've done week2, but going to repeat it), so haven't really experienced running in cold weather.
Besides trackie bottoms, a tshirt and a hoodie, what else can I wear? I don't really have anything other than my winter coat which I don't want to wear. Or will I get warmed up quickly and not notice the cold weather?!

If you continue with this running malarkey - and I expect you will because that's kind of the point isn't it? - you will find yourself turning into a runner. This means you'll be wanting to look like a runner and get running gear. You'll get proper running shoes which will be the best thing you can do and you will get some Lycra leggings and proper tops but you don't need to get the 'professional' stuff which costs a fortune because you can get perfectly good cheap stuff from Lidl like I did. Mountain Warehouse is another cheap brand that you can get online. Don't wear cotton as you will sweat and you will get freezing cold. Wear layers of artificial clothes that 'wick' which means that moisture passes through easily. I have bought a couple of cheap headband-type things as well to keep my ears warm and you will need to wear gloves when it gets colder. The other thing to say is that you don't need as much clothing as you think you do as you will soon warm up. I hope that helps.
You will warm up so don't overdress. You just have to put up with being cold at the start. Best advice is to be able to adjust your temperature by taking things off. Gloves, Buff, hat, jacket. Small things will go in your pockets or belt. Jacket can just tie round your waist.
Thanks everyone. I have decided to give myself a month to see if I stick at it. I want to believe that I will, but don't want to buy a load of stuff before this just in case I don't.
Better shoes and lycra leggings will be next on my list to get.
That hoodie will hurt! Thin layers are much better as they can be removed. Today I had 45F which is about perfect for summer dressing still, but layers will be coming out soon and I’d best get some tights... never thought I’d hear myself say those words 😂
Buffs are really good. Decathlon cheap ones are almost indistinguishable from the brand name ones. You can wear them in loads of ways to keep the wind off and move them about (ultimately, onto your wrist) as you warm up. A buff round the neck and another around or over your head like a skull cap on a really cold day works well. Thin running gloves are really good - you lead with your hands and they hit any wind chill. Enjoy!
As someone who is cold at the best of times, this weather is definitely NOT the best of times! Be really warm before you leave the house is my best tip, that way you have the best chance of not feeling cold while you are waiting for the internal heat from running to kick in. Also, if you have long hair, this wicking, fleece headband from Trailheads is perfect as not only does it keep you warm but it also has a hole for a ponytail. They have loads of other cool headgear too, so you should be able to find something that works for you.
