Benefits of cold weather running....

As long as its not too cold and you cover up correctly then I have no problems in the cold and ill take the cold running benefits as bonus. I have a light running jacket that gets zipped up and down as required. Also love my leggings and a new pair of running gloves that my kids got me for Xmas... which also go on and off. Think I'm more worried about the summer when it will be tricky to cool down unless you go out early or late in the day.

I ditched my running jacket again today, and never run in gloves cos i get far too hot. Good to keep warm in this freezing weather

Interesting and encouraging. My last 3 runs were in the cold. Thursday it was snowing horizontally with a biting north wind, but once I got out there and got warmed it up was surprising enjoyable !

I've just now cracked my cold weather gear, tights under my trousers and a good old M & S thermal vest under my top.. Interesting article, thanks Rupert x
