Should I start running out side

It’s been 14 weeks since I had my ankle operation I been running on treadmill still some pain consultant said there will be he said I can start running want to do c25k again but not sure if I should stick to treadmill for now any advice thank you

Nothing wrong with using the treadmill, when you do go back outside, just don't try and run too fast.

I'm a returner (June 2019) and did all the runs on the treadmill until they became longer continuous runs, switched to outside then.

I still do one run a week on the treadmill (speed intervals), the other 2 outside.

My consultant has just told me not to start running again for a couple of months...........i am listening to my consultant.

Seen physio today I have to wait 1 more mth before running outside but can you treadmill

I haven't had an operation, but I did suffer from pains in my ankles when I was running outside and a friend suggested I tried a pain recovery sleeve and that really helped me! I used an Incrediwear one of that helps
