Am only starting week 4. Bounced out of bed at 6.20am but being v inexperienced realised that sunrise wasn’t until 7.20! Absolutely pooed myself running in the pitch black at some points - upside was I ran so much faster than I usually would thinking some murderer was going to jump out at me......obviously I made it back alive but bit of a pain having to run in daylight hours now the days are shorter. I don’t want to run along orange lit pavements. Roll on the spring !

Well done getting out there! Good run. You can always get high vis and a head torch to carry on running.

Personally I like the early morning run - get to see the sunrise! However, realise not every part of country lit enough to run comfortably. Well done on going faster, run safe.

I had my first run in the dark yesterday since last Winter & realised afresh how much I like it. Running, for me, is some time to myself and somehow the darkness enhances that - although I do like running in the light as well. 😀
