The advantage of working afternoons and evenings is that I can run in the morning... I really have no excuses! I can't say I enjoyed W1R3 but, like every run, the achievement is mentally rewarding, I have more energy later in the day and feel less tired despite the slight muscle and joint aches and pains. I'm actually looking forward to W2R1. I've been here before. It's 90% mental. After W1 I know I can do W2. I won't enjoy doing it but I want that sense of achievement afterwards and the extra energy later in the day... it is addictive!

Good job... you can certainly do week 2 and the post run feelings will grow... maybe you’ll even start to enjoy the run itself at some point 😂.

For me, today will be W3R3. To date, I have felt an increasing sense of accomplishment with each week completed. I hope it will remain the same. Remember, week 3 run is three times as long as week 1 run. Right now I can't imagine running 10 minutes let alone 28! But I am encouraged having done 3 weeks without a need to repeat effort. I was 40 years a couch potato, so thought it impossible till now.

Yes it is! By the time you get up to 5km you might find you enjoy the run (or parts of it) too!

Well done for getting out there👍
