A great big thank you for all the support and advice on my first post.
Today I dragged myself out of bed for run 2.
On Monday I didn’t think I could go any slower, but today I took the advice ‘start slow, slow down and then go slower still’ (I might have been going backwards) and it worked, I was less gaspy and though still challenging, it seemed more achievable today. I still can’t see me ever keeping going for 30 mins, but I maintain faith in the plan and the inspirational stories here so will keep on keeping on!
Have a good day all x

Hi, for first few runs I thought I might actually collapse- breathing was such a problem for me but eventually it got easier and bit more relaxed especially on running machine (outside running took bit longer to deal with). I did wk9r3 on Monday. At beginning I couldn’t imagine running week9 but I did and you can too - keep going, 1 run at a time x
Breathing is my main concern, today was slightly better but it’s so reassuring to hear that it does get better. I really appreciate hearing from others, thank you and well done on your achievement! I’m in awe of runners x
You are doing great and as long as you follow the programme you will definitely be running for 30 minutes in 9 weeks or so.
Great job on the pace... nice run. Trust the programme... it will get you to 30. Believe in yourself too... you can do whatever run it gives you. Tell yourself you can often. Maybe meditation will help there. Relax before you run, and go nice and slow just like today... you can do this.
