Yet again under the cover of darkness, well when I say darkness it was only 8pm so people could still see me.
No rude comments and a few nods from some other runners out doing their thing. It’s almost like they knew that I was doing the C25K, especially when I’m stop, start!
I loved it and did find it slightly better as I knew what was coming, Jo telling me to move forward and me shouting back 😜
The new trainers helped cushion the blow to my ankles! My face was the colour of beetroot. But I did it and I’m so happy!😁
great stuff, I salute you. I'm only a couple of weeks ahead but already the plan is helping me improve! I ran more than I had to yesterday, so it must be working! we can do this x
Perhaps you are now realising that it is highly unlikely that anybody will make any rude comments and most people will admire you for making the effort.
Well done you are nearly finished week 1. Those runners that you see had to start somewhere and some of them may well have started doing c25k so recognise that's what you're doing.
You really don't need to go out in darkness, you deserve to be out there just as much as the next person, you are doing something amazing for your health, be proud (realise the irony of what I'm saying as I feel the same as you, if only I could say this to myself)
Lol, I look a right state when I run, I have a man bun but no matter what I do: my hair goes all flyaway, then sticks to my sweaty face... Glad your enjoying the program, before you know it: you'll be graduating. Keep up the great work, and once again; congratulations for choosing to better yourself
