#Couchto5k Week 9 Run 2 (2nd attempt) COMPLETE πββοΈπ₯πͺπ»
Very chuffed getting 4.7km in 30mins! Pace was much faster than before and steady. Felt the stride and glide between feet was much better.
The breathing was pretty steady and regulated. Was feeling it in the last 1/4 particularly with the slight incline.
Very happy I overcame the aborted W9R2 and came back fighting. Really hard near the end but kept going as I know the benefits outweigh the temporary pain.
Thank you to all those of you encouraging me to get back out there and treat it all as a learning curve.
Great run Chris... using the mental strength to push to the end is a good skill to have... enjoy every step of your graduation run, itβs emotional, and although itβs just a run, consider it a celebration of the journey, the hard work, the highs and lows along the way... enjoy your victory.
Very well done, Chris...it must be an amazing feeling and it's one I hope to have in 7 weeks time ( starting W3R1 Thursday morning ) so big congrats to you.
Nice one Chris! Youβre mighty close to 5k too, so youβre definitely going to crack that in the next run or two! ππππππ
Bubbly is on ice, badge is being shined and your spot on the podium is being prepared. Weβll be there to cheer you over the line! Exciting stuff! π
Good to hear! Hope youβll hop over to B210K when youβre ready as youβll recognise the names of lots of your virtual buddies! πππββοΈπ
My first goal after graduation is to run the 5k... as my 30mins 4.7km isn't quite near enough and don't want to push my self too much on my graduation run.
