Week 9 Run 1 had a slight delay due to a weekend of excess. Saturday found me awoken by a sizzled house mate and ushered to a pub for breakfast...if you are hauled out of bed forcibly by a drunken monkey the only way to redeem the situation is to have a prosecco fueled morning feast. While the pancakes had the texture of worn rubber, the bubbles compensated and a merry little time was had by all.
Had a lovely little run this morning, got into my groove after the toxic 10. I rejoiced when I heard the half way bell! I knew I could do it, and today I ran for 30 solid minutes!! Me!! I ran and I ran! And I could have kept going! I wanted to keep going but Michael reigned me in and told me to stop. So I stopped. But yay 30 whole minutes while the sun rose over the park. Feeling super chuffed with life today. Duck had a great run too! We did it!! 2 more runs until graduation!!! Eep!! I know it won’t be the end though. 😀🏃♀️😀🏃♀️

I know!! I genuinely can’t believe I’ve come this far! I had no doubts about duck he’s a natural and much fitter than me but yay! I’m going to wear my graduation cap with pride 🎓 . Hopefully I’ll be all gracious about it😂🤣😂🏃♀️
Yay!!! not long to go. I'm at same place as you... two left and I'm doing my graduation run on Friday this week instead of Saturday due to some cocktail nonsense happening on Friday night. hopefully I can use it as a sort of graduation celebration too
Cocktails for graduation is a great call!! Enjoy a few too many and consolidate on Sunday...that’s my plan at least😀 we’ve done amazingly well to get this far! How chuffed are you to have hit 30 mins?
Ha you’re floating on clouds,I’m trying to keep my head above water but still feeling remarkably smug internally. Can’t actually believe I’ve come this far, such a great program. Really wish I had bitten the bullet years ago!

Hah it's the badges first outing today! Have been running at the gym instead since it was unwrapped, so didn't have many adventures to tell of 😁 Wanted to drop in though as I was missing the posts. Friday wow - will be on the lookout, you ready for that Rocky moment? Jealous, I want to do it all again! 😆
