I’ve not run for two weeks now. My ankle was so sore I really wanted it 100% better. Now I’ve completely lost my run mojo. I can’t get out until the earliest Thursday . Back to the programme. I’m going to go back to Sara Milligan for motivation and maybe start from week 6.

I had a sore ankle and ended up not running for 3 weeks. I started again by doing week 6 run 2 twice, then 20 minutes followed by 25 before getting back to a 30 minute run. All feels good now. You will do it! Just keep listening to your body. Be patient but go for it.
Thank you, it’s frustrating but I will start again. You did what I’m planning so fingers crossed it works for me. It’s interesting as I changed my trainers because of ankle issues. Unfortunately it’s moved the issue to the front ie now it’s my shin instead of my Achilles. Grr! All is feeling much better now though, so restart end of the week.
