w9r1 oh yeah baby

Should I be feeling this pleased with myself? First run week 9, bloody brilliant. Usual hard first kilometer then in to my stride and with Laura's encouragement 30 minutes non stop. Can't believe it actually. Followed the plan, followed the advice of good folks on here. No repeats needed, no injuries, no issues with my sometimes sore knees. Bit naughty for first time today - carried on for my first 5k in a somewhat surprising 36' 52" Sorry to babble on just had to share with people who know what it feels like.....C25k is brilliant

Of course you should be feeling pleased with yourself! Two milestones in one day - 30 minutes run AND 5k completed. You should be ecstatic!

Super well done!!

Great job and congrats on the PB. Best advice I can give is to keep the others at 30 now, you wouldn’t want an injury at this late stage!

No, there’s no way you should be feeling that pleases with yourself, you should be feeling at least twice that much!

Thanks Skiwalker, surprised myself actually - not bad for a small, slightly overweight 62 yr old. - all credit to the C25k plan that works!

I am loving it! Six years ago this month I was on chemotherapy & couldn’t even walk up the stairs, so I am loving every moment! Hope you’ll be cracking the bubbly in a few days time ....
